To ensure that everyone can continue to enjoy the toys we have in our collection, we ask that you take care of the toys and return them on time in a good and clean condition with all pieces.
We do charge penalty fees missing pieces ($4 per piece until the piece is returned), broken or lost toys (payment depending on toy value) and overdue toys (rental price for additional weeks).
Our party pack has a child-size table and chairs, bubble machine with 1 litre of bubbles, and 2 big toys for $25. You can get extra litres of bubble mix for $7 a litre. (These items may also be borrowed individually: table & chairs $10; bubble machine $15).
Our small bouncy castle is $20 to hire and requires a $30 bond that will be returned when the bouncy castle is returned clean and dry the following week. Our large bouncy castle is $40, with a $30 bond required. Both bouncy castles are brand new, purchased late 2022 and early 2023.
For both the party pack and bouncy castle, if you have signed up for a volunteer membership and have not been a member for at least three months and completed a volunteer session, and additional bond applies which will be returned to you once you have completed a volunteer session. The additional bond is $27.50 (concession) or $55 (standard) which is the difference between the cost of volunteer and non-volunteer membership.
I hereby assume complete and full responsibility for any and all injuries to any person or persons that result in whole or in part from using the toys I borrow from Ōtaki Toy Library. I hereby release the Ōtaki Toy Library from any and all responsibility in respect of any injuries so sustained either outside of or inside the premises.
