Te Whare o Rēhia Ōtaki Toy Library is a non-profit organisation run by a voluntary committee with support from our members and their families.
We offer over 350 toys for hire from as little as 50c a fortnight. Guaranteed to delight, entertain and engage children of all ages.
Early play is part of a child's first steps towards their education and development. Our range of safe, educational, fun toys and resources are carefully chosen to inspire and promote creative and active play for children in New Zealand.
Our toy library collection is regularly updated with new toys and resources. We have puzzles, games, Duplo, train sets, electronic toys, ride-ons, musical instruments, themed sets, outdoor toys and much more... suitable for children aged 0 - 8 years old.
We aim to keep the toy library affordable. It costs $25 per year for a volunteer membership and $80 for a non-volunteer membership. Gold Card and Community Service Card Holders get half price membership ($12.50 for volunteer or $40 for non-volunteer).
Most of our toys are 50c - $5 for a two-week rental. As well our main toy selection, we have a special party pack and two bouncy castles.
